I think Ignatiev might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Beats That. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ignatiev throws a hook but Asmundsen blocks it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Asmundsen throws a front kick aimed at Ignatiev's knee but Ignatiev avoids it well.
Ignatiev connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Asmundsen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ignatiev on his heels. He'll look to pass Ignatiev's guard now, I'm sure.

Ignatiev cracks Asmundsen on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Asmundsen falls backwards against the cage. Ignatiev follows up with more strikes that drop Asmundsen to his knees. Ignatiev keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Asmundsen! This one is all over!
