White throws a jab when Azul was well out of range.
Azul seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
White looks to land a left hand but Azul moved out of range nicely.
Azul takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Azul on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
White jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Azul uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from White.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've been informed that Slam has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Slam throws the left hand but Matti avoids the punch easily.
Matti swings for the body but Slam moves out of range.

It looks like Ben Slam has been cut.

and Matti counters with a nice right hand that sends Slam toppling to the canvas! Slam scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Matti finish him?!
That has opened up Ben Slam's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Matti counters with a crisp right hand that drops Slam! Matti lets Slam back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Slam throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Matti's head.
Matti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Matti was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Matti tries to close the distance and clinch but Slam swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Slam throws a big shot that misses.
Matti scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Matti thuds a left hand into Slam's body.
Both fighters circling a little - Matti finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Slam looks winded!
Matti jabs Slam to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Matti bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Matti clinches up with Slam and pushes him back against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Matti.
The cut above Ben Slam's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Slam takes a shot to the head.
Slam working hard to break the clinch.
Slam tries to break free but Matti pushes him back against the cage.
Matti lands with a light punch inside.
A head punch on the inside from Matti fails to land.
Slam blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Slam blocks an uppercut.

Slam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Slam swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Matti makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Slam really felt that one!

Matti cracks Slam with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Matti has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Slam to stand back up!
Ben Slam's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ben Slam's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Parta Matti bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Dracul gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kahn counters with a lovely shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dracul closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kahn's guard.

Kahn being controlled here, momentarily.
Dracul advances to half guard.
Dracul keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Kahn won't allow Dracul to pass to mount.

Dracul content to control rather than advance.
Dracul uses his free foot to push down on Kahn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kahn.
Dracul moves to take his opponent's back.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Dracul controlling the positon.

Dracul has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Kahn is defending well but eventually Dracul manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Kahn has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
