The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tovarov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tovarov is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Aurelius fails with an attempt to clinch.
A combination from Tovarov does no damage.
Tovarov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Aurelius takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Aurelius gets caught flat footed, as Tovarov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tovarov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aurelius swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Aurelius escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tovarov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tovarov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Tovarov chips away with some ground and pound.
Tovarov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tovarov connects with a couple of short punches.

Aurelius is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Tovarov frees his head nicely. Oh but Aurelius has switched to an armbar! Tovarov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Hanma rushes Simoan and presses him up against the cage.

Simoan is trying to push Hanma away but Hanma has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hanma is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Simoan tries to break free but Hanma pushes him back against the cage.
Hanma prevents Simoan from breaking the clinch.
Simoan wants to break free but Hanma has control.
Simoan looking to throw knees to the head but Hanma is blocking nicely.

Hanma scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Simoan is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hanma can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Liviazoa is keen to just control but Cox is a slippery customer.
Liviazoa perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Liviazoa is stalling here. Cox is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Liviazoa seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Cox has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ian tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Moreno defends well and Ian ends up having to push Moreno into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Moreno tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ian sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moreno somewhat.

Ian decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Ian looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ian connects with a nice short shot to Moreno's temple.
Ian scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Ian working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Moreno is rocked!
Ian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ian lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Moreno quite badly. Moreno pulls Ian in close trying to recover. Ian postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Moreno on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Moreno doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
