The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Rumiantsev counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bond lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Bond gets tackled into the cage by Chai. Chai maintains the clinch.
Bond misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Chai fails to land.
Bond struggles to land a body shot inside as Chai controls his hands.
Bond throws a head punch that misses.
Bond blocks an uppercut.
Bond misses with a body punch.
Bond scores with an uppercut up the middle.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bond.

Chai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bond ducks under a wild hook from Chai.
Bond avoids the head kick by Chai.
Bond throws out a counter right but Chai avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Gunner Bond has been cut.

and Bond counters with a nice low kick that buckles Chai's knee momentarily.

and Bond counters with a good, hard body kick but Chai shrugs it off.
Bond throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bond throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Bond is looking to score with low kicks.
Chai thumps Bond with a low kick.
Chai misses with a straight right.
Bond throws out a counter right but Chai avoids it with no problem.

Bond lands a big uppercut and Chai crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Chai looks OK. Bond waves Chai back to his feet!
Chai is rocked!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Bond counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Chai! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Gunner Bond thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
