Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Laszlo (ranked 3478 p4p, 4044 weight class) and Danny Trejo (ranked 397 p4p, 441 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Laszlo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Medal. Trejo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. El Mas Bravo De Los Bravos kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Jason Laszlo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jason Laszlo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, BIg Cholo!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cholo misses with a looping left.
Cholo throws a jab but it's blocked by Makkonen.
Makkonen attempts a counter takedown but Cholo avoids it well and moves away.
We've been hearing reports that Makkonen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Makkonen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Cholo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Makkonen moves away.
Cholo's corner calls for a 1-2. Cholo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Make Makkonen has been cut.

Make Makkonen was interviewed post fight and said 'All in all, he was better tonight. Maybe i was slightly too confident with my boxing and it did not go that well... I had a perfect camp and preparation, but it is what it is. Congrats brotha, well played!'.
