Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Hans Schultz (ranked 1220 p4p, 3406 weight class) and Vincent McGuire (ranked 72 p4p, 133 weight class). I was talking to Schultz's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Schultz lands a hook to the side of the head.
Schultz cracks McGuire with a big elbow, right in the eye socket! McGuire drops to his knees in obvious pain! The referee starts the count but it's plainly obvious that McGuire isn't going to get back to his feet. The referee counts none the less and Schultz struts around the mat, safe in the knowledge that this one is over. A big win for Schultz!

Hans Schultz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
