The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trapnell gets a clinch.

Trapnell decides to pull guard.
Trapnell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Trapnell prevents Dumont from improving his position.
Trapnell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dumont's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dumont regains full guard. Nicely done.

Trapnell is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dumont has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Trapnell is looking to defend but Dumont has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Trapnell! Dumont pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Trapnell taps out and this one is all over!

McFoy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Bloominshine swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McFoy has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

McFoy cracks Bloominshine with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Bloominshine falls to his knees and McFoy doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
