The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Me shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sakurai as he jumps to the side.
Me shoots in looking for a takedown but Sakurai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Me's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sakurai throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Me's head.
Me closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sakurai counters with a nice body kick.
Me shoots for a takedown but Sakurai saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sakurai tries to counter with a clinch but Me shakes him off and moves away.

Carter leaves Storm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Carter swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Carter enables Storm to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Carter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Storm can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Carlson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Conner should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Carlson has tightened it up now! Conner should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Old Striking.
Well Striking has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Szabolcs lands a big right hand that sends Kramer crashing to the mat! Szabolcs stays standing though and waves Kramer back to his feet!

Kitjakarn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Three Little Birds (Dub). We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kitjakarn can do anything to dispel that myth.

Muckerberg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kitjakarn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The two fighters roll across the mat, with Kitjakarn trying to push Muckerberg off... Kitjakarn taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
