Krnacova looks for a takedown but Adams sprawls well.
Adams blocks a head kick by Krnacova.
Krnacova shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adams pinned against the cage. Adams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Krnacova changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adams tries to avoid it but Krnacova manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adams to the ground. Adams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Quigley throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Naulakko crashing down! Naulakko tries to stagger back to his feet but Quigley just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Naulakko asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mahogany feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Edmonds seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Edmonds working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mahogany doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mahogany manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mahogany drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mahogany jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Edmonds is looking to cinch up a triangle. Mahogany throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Edmonds's body to avoid the submission. Edmonds has instead reached around Mahogany's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Edmonds arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Chika was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Chika throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Drop scores with a nice body kick.

Drop throws a hook to the side of Chika's head but Chika sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
