Grave finds Ekotto's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Ekotto flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Grave lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ekotto will be OK.

With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Baba Yaga!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Farquharson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yaga sprawls well initially but Farquharson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Yaga looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Farquharson is landing with some decent strikes but Yaga is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Farquharson softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Yaga is out cold! Farquharson jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Russian moves into range and connects with a jab.
Russian ducks under a wild hook from Collins.
Collins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Russian moves away.
Russian flicks out a counter leg kick but Collins steps away.

Russian throws an off balance right hand

and Collins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Russian won't be happy with that.

Collins is working to tighten his grip on Russian's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Russian has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Collins is really squeezing tight and eventually Russian passes out! Collins breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Devon Collins!
