That was a close round but I would say that Rivers Cuomo will probably get the nod.

Kiptanui has Cuomo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kiptanui pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cuomo tumbling to the mat - Kiptanui dives into Cuomo's guard.

Kiptanui drops back looking for a leg! Cuomo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cuomo manages to kick Kiptanui off! Kiptanui jumps back into Cuomo's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kiptanui lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Cuomo at a distance.

Kiptanui feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cuomo is looking for a triangle here but Kiptanui uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Kiptanui is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cuomo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
