And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bosko Brown!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Hahn misses
and Brown counters with a three punch combo that has Hahn backing up. Hahn nods at Brown to acknowledge the strikes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hahn.

Hahn moves into the clinch.

Hahn drags the fight down to the ground.
Brown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Brown postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hahn wants to sweep but no luck.
Brown wants to stand but Hahn is controlling his posture from full guard.
Brown won't allow Hahn to get back to his feet.
Hahn really is a fat lump.

Brown would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Hahn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Brown stands up and waves to Hahn to follow him.
Hahn has his takedown stuffed
and Brown counters with a series of strikes. Hahn will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hahn moves into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hahn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brown fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guther Hahn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hahn throws a front kick that sends Brown stumbling back into the cage.

Guther Hahn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Brown counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Hahn is breathing heavily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Brown enables Hahn to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Brown manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Brown is looking to stand back up but Hahn counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Brown.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hahn decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Hahn shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brown unleashes a big counter combination but Hahn bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Hahn closes the distance but Brown moves to the side
and Brown connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hahn with a poor takedown
and Brown counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hahn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hahn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hahn doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brown scores with a counter punch that sends Hahn to the canvas! Brown smells blood - he's punishing Hahn with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hahn has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bosko Brown!
