The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Dammon taking some punishment here, with Williams in his half guard.
Williams takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Williams with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Dammon is breathing heavily.
Williams lands strikes from half guard.
Williams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Williams lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dammon quite badly. Dammon pulls Williams in close trying to recover. Williams postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dammon on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dammon doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Reyes (ranked 2004 p4p, 2591 weight class) and George Pierre (ranked 87 p4p, 121 weight class). Reyes comes to the cage accompanied by Zack Hemsey - Vengeance. Pierre comes into a darkened arena with his song building. O Canada kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! George Pierre told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Horrible takedown attempt by Tully or perhaps it was just good defense by Koefti, which made it look bad.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bollomard gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Jacques Bollomard has been cut.
Bollomard slips a straight right by Carioni.
Carioni throws a hook to the side of Bollomard's head but Bollomard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carioni lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Carioni looks to score with a jab to the body but Bollomard is just out of range.
Bollomard takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bollomard tries to clinch but Carioni is having none of it.
Bollomard slips under a jab from Carioni.
Bollomard appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Bollomard throws a predictable looking body shot
and Bollomard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bollomard swings for the body but Carioni moves out of range.
Rodrigo Carioni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bollomard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bollomard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carioni as he avoids it easily.

Carioni lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bollomard at a distance.
Bollomard displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carioni throws out the jab.
Bollomard swings for the body but Carioni moves out of range.
Carioni is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Bollomard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Carioni throws out a counter right but Bollomard avoids it with no problem.
A cross from Carioni lands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Carioni drops Bollomard with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bollomard looks back up at him and smiles so Carioni waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bollomard is rocked!
Bollomard slips under a jab.
Bollomard half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Oh Bollomard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carioni takes a swing at Bollomard's ribcage but misses.
Bollomard is looking to wear down Carioni with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bollomard gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Bollomard tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Carioni is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Bollomard buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Bollomard!! Bollomard is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Carioni throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
