The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zimmerman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Solomon's guard.

Zimmerman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Solomon dives on top into guard.


Zimmerman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Solomon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Solomon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Zimmerman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Solomon defends it easily.

A very excited looking Derwent Bolt rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
