The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean throws a head kick that misses.
A shot to the liver by Dean. Beautiful body shot.
Dean fails with the takedown.
Scott follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Dean tries to close the distance and clinch but Scott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Scott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And Scott tries to counter it with a takedown but Dean pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dean blocks the body kick.
Dean falls off balance throwing a combination

and Scott holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Dean breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Scott has closed the distance and engaged Dean in a clinch.
Dean with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Dean keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Scott's efforts to push away.
Scott is looking to break free of the clinch but Dean has double underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean wants a takedown.

Dean pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Dean manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Scott on his heels. He'll look to pass Scott's guard now, I'm sure.

Scott pushes a forearm under Dean's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dean is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slum Lord!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Taaco stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lord connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Taaco's hands.
Lord scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A jab from Lord does it's job there.

Taaco closes the distance and pushes Lord back into the cage.
Taaco throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lord blocks it with crossed arms.
Lord tries a body shot but Taaco blocks it.
Lord throws a punch but it's blocked by Taaco.
Lord looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A short right from Lord.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lord.

Lord gets control of Taaco's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lord will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lord is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Taaco is aware though and is defending well.

Lord has his foot on Taaco's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taaco works his way back into a safe position though.
Taaco connects with a couple of short punches.
Taaco has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lord is looking for a triangle but Taaco pushes his legs off easily.

Taaco is sitting in close to Lord's body. Lord has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Taaco is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Taaco is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lord.

Slum Lord really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Nevermore Clothing Co logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Murskaa misses with an attempted mid kick.
Igor missing with a left hand there. Murskaa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And Murskaa responds with a good body kick, but Igor manages to step out the way in time.
Murskaa connects with a body shot that sends Igor's belly button to the back.
Murskaa blocks a head kick by Igor.
Murskaa connects with a leg kick.
Igor goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Murskaa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Alexander Igor has been cut.
Murskaa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Igor tries to clinch but Murskaa moves out of range.

and Murskaa counters with a thumping low kick.
Murskaa moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Igor throws a sloppy head kick and Murskaa moves out of range easily.

and Murskaa counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Murskaa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Murskaa misses the shot to the body.
Igor lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Murskaa thumps Igor with a low kick.

Murskaa drops his shoulder and cracks Igor with a huge uppercut! Igor goes down! Can Murskaa finish him?
Igor is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Murskaa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Oh Igor is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murskaa slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Murskaa in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Igor is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Tyson throws a series of strikes that have Man Ii backpedaling.
Tyson cracks Man Ii with a right hand to the side of the head.
Man Ii looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tyson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Man Ii's hands.
Man Ii digs a good body shot into Tyson's ribs.
Tyson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Tyson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Tyson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Man Ii.
Tyson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Man Ii misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A big left from Man Ii misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tyson keeps the fight on the outside.
Tyson jabs at Man Ii's body.
Man Ii takes one to the side of the head.
Man Ii changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mick Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyson avoids the body shot from Man Ii.

Tyson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Man Ii.
Tyson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tyson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tyson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Cinderella Man Ii has been cut.

Man Ii walks into a stiff left hand from Tyson.

Tyson cracks Man Ii with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tyson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Man Ii to stand back up!
Man Ii is rocked!
Tyson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Man Ii's defenses. It connects perfectly with Man Ii's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
