The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior misses with a double jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Butcher.
Butcher throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Junior on the side of the head.
It looks like Junior Junior has been cut.
Junior gets cracked there but stands up to it.
An inside leg kick lands from Butcher.
Junior feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Butchers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That kick from Butcher tenderised Junior's leg. Junior is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've been told by Butcher's head coaches at MMAH League and Warrior Nation that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Junior lands a nice hook to Butcher's body. Butcher takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Butcher counters with a good low kick that Junior was not able to check.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Malm has knocked Valente down with a huge combo! Malm steps away and waves a wobbly Valente back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
