Big Foot postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Oh is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Big Foot, into his guard.

Clarkson feints and as Halli raises his hands in defense, Clarkson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Clarkson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Halli has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Clarkson is looking to defend but Halli has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Clarkson! Halli pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Clarkson taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Simo Halli!
A very excited looking Simo Halli made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
