The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lion, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Emerald Dream seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dream wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

And Levesque counters with a quick kick to the body but Night blocks it.
Levesque uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Night.
Levesque was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

It looks like Werewolf Night has been cut.

and Levesque counters with a low kick, right behind Night 's knee.

That has opened up Werewolf Night's cut even more.
Levesque looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Night breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Night works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Levesque cracks Night with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Levesque has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Night to stand back up!
Night is rocked!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Night crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Levesque - the referee stops the clock and Night gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Levesque. Night manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Night looks winded!

Night lands with an overhand left.
Levesque is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Night flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Night is out cold! Levesque holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

A relieved looking André Levesque thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
