The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furioto moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The fight stays on the outside here - White Jr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
White Jr backing away here, and Furioto unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Furioto fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
White Jr comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
White Jr stuffs the takedown attempt from Furioto. Furioto gets slowly back to his feet.

White Jr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Furioto, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Furioto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but White Jr gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bruce White Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maximus Furioto.
White Jr misses with a knee to the head.
Furioto has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. White Jr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Furioto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but White Jr gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Furioto works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

White Jr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Furioto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Furioto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Furioto is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! White Jr is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! White Jr has escaped and now he's on top!


White Jr lying in Furioto's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Furioto decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! White Jr taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
