Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pope Cozad (ranked 23522 p4p, 2722 weight class) and Vitor Mesquita (ranked 474 p4p, 298 weight class). Cozad comes to the cage accompanied by Spirit In The Sky- Norman Greenbaum. Pope Cozad had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Pope Cozad has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bollomard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bollomard postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hendrix is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bollomard, into his guard.

Bollomard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hendrix's guard.


And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jacques Bollomard.
I think Bollomard has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
