The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Babalu's waist but Babalu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thomas off to one side.
Thomas doesn't manage to clinch there - Babalu circles away.
Thomas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Babalu.

Thomas blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Babalu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Thomas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
