The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzalez moves out of range easily.
Austin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Austin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gonzalez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Gonzalez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gonzalez controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Austin wants to get back to his feet but Gonzalez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

F is not going to allow Guapo to sit and survive in this position.
F tries to get the hooks in deep but Guapo pushed the leg off.
Guapo tries to escape the position.
Guapo is covering up but some of the strikes from F are getting through and doing damage.
F is punishing Guapo with some ground and pound.

I really don't envy Guapo right now.
Guapo breaks F's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

F stands up and beckons Guapo to join him on the feet.

Guapo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Guapo is working for a submission of some sort.
F moves into full guard.
F is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Guapo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Professor F showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and F counters with a nice double leg into side control. Guapo won't be happy with that.

Guapo has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, F escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by F!

F decides to stand up, so the ref orders Guapo to his feet.
F loads up on a big right hand but Guapo slips the punch.

and F counters with a two punch combo.

F misses with a looping left.
Guapo shoots and misses

and F counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by F.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Guapo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Guapo wants to sweep here but F controlling him for the moment.
F slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
F forces his way into half guard.
Guapo tries to roll over but F keeps him under control.
F passes to side control.
F wants to control but Guapo is keeping him busy.
Professor F has got the better of the ground game so far.

F is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Guapo will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
F wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guapo keeps working.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Professor F hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

F pulls Guapo in close to his closed guard and prevents Guapo from doing any damage or advancing position.

Guapo wants to control from the top but F keeps moving.
F utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Guapo throws and elbow that misses. F uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Guapo's guard. Nice move by F!

Guapo has his foot on F's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. F works his way back into a safe position though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Professor F comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well F has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
