Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Swazy Hampton Jr (ranked 5907 p4p, 515 weight class) and Robinson David (ranked 3541 p4p, 387 weight class). David has chosen Space Cowboy as his entrance music. Swazy Hampton Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David shoots in looking for a takedown. Hampton Jr tries to sprawl out of it but David keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hampton Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hampton Jr looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
David fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hampton Jr avoids it really well and circles away.
Hampton Jr shoots in but David avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hampton Jr drives through and clinches with David against the cage.

David really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hampton Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

David is fighting to break Hampton Jr's control of his arms but Hampton Jr is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hampton Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in David's guard.

David throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

David scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hampton Jr manages to mount him!

Hampton Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as David sprawls well. David wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hampton Jr gets slowly back to his feet.
David will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hampton Jr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hampton Jr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
David is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Swazy Hampton Jr.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hampton Jr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
