PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Kane Swift Jnr (ranked 4030 p4p, 364 weight class) and Wong Kei Ying (ranked 23465 p4p, 489 weight class). Swift Jnr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Teejayx6 - "On Tour". Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kei Ying lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Swift Jnr punishes Kei Ying's body with a nice straight punch.
Kei Ying thuds a left hand into Swift Jnr's body.
Swift Jnr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kei Ying can pounce on him.
Kei Ying fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Swift Jnr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kei Ying lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Swift Jnr at a distance.
Kei Ying thuds his shin into the meat of Swift Jnr's side.
Kei Ying throws a leg kick which misses Swift Jnr's front leg but catches the back leg as Swift Jnr tries to avoid it.

Swift Jnr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kei Ying looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Swift Jnr seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kei Ying keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Kei Ying has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Kei Ying explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Swift Jnr takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kei Ying ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kei Ying lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kei Ying throws out a powerful jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kei Ying.
Kei Ying stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That kick from Kei Ying tenderised Swift Jnr's leg. Swift Jnr is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kei Ying connects with a good right hand that stumbles Swift Jnr. Swift Jnr circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Swift Jnr is rocked!
Kei Ying weaves into range and cracks Swift Jnr right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Swift Jnr goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Kei Ying is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
