Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nino Niederreiter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luis Alberto Perez!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niederreiter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Niederreiter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Niederreiter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Niederreiter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Niederreiter works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Perez is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Perez felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Niederreiter lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Perez down.
Perez managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Niederreiter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Niederreiter in side control, throwing shots but Perez defends.
Niederreiter landing a few strikes.
Sloppy strikes there by Niederreiter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perez avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Niederreiter.
Niederreiter working the ground and pound but Perez is defending the strikes.

Perez on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Perez takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.


Perez is rocked!
Niederreiter grinds an elbow into Perez's temple.
Perez is still in real trouble! Can Niederreiter finish him?
Perez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Niederreiter has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Niederreiter lands a strong strike to the head of Perez. That's dazed him! Niederreiter looking to finish here. Perez is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Niederreiter lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nino Niederreiter!
A relieved looking Nino Niederreiter thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
