The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aurelius closes the distance and pushes Tam back into the cage.

Aurelius has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tam is trying to keep an underhook but Aurelius manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Tam has hold of Aurelius's hands but Aurelius slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

It looks like Ktos Tam has been cut.

That has opened up Ktos Tam's cut even more.
Aurelius will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Aurelius is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tam is just riding it out for now. Aurelius eventually gives up the hold.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aurelius lands a big elbow - Tam is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Aurelius!
