Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seung Kwan Choi (ranked 2602 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Lynn (ranked 1955 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Lynn!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Choi on his heels. He'll look to pass Choi's guard now, I'm sure.
Lynn forces his way into half guard.
Lynn takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Choi is breathing heavily.
Lynn passes to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Lynn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lynn moves to the back position.
Lynn is cranking Choi's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Choi! He's tightened the choke and Choi is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Lynn!
