Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chandler Nelson (ranked 3384 p4p, 323 weight class) and Randy Marsh (ranked 5807 p4p, 422 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chandler Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh swats away the attempt to clinch by Nelson.

Nelson has closed the distance and engaged Marsh in a clinch.
Nelson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Marsh wants a takedown.

Marsh tries to pull guard but Nelson won't allow it.

Nelson breaks the clinch.
Nelson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Marsh's head.

Marsh fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nelson to the ground. Marsh is now in Nelson's guard.

Marsh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nelson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marsh has managed to get both his arms back between Nelson's legs - danger averted.
Nelson wants to stand up but Marsh is controlling him.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chandler Nelson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nelson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Marsh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nelson tries to avoid it but Marsh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nelson to the ground. Nelson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
