The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longares clinches with his opponent.
Longares gets control of Wannabe's arms and successfully pulls guard. Longares will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Wannabe wants to control from the top but Longares keeps moving.
Wannabe pushes down on Longares's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wannabe has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Longares tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wannabe fails to take his opponent's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Longares holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Wannabe tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Poor strikes thrown by Wannabe there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Wannabe has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Longares! Can he survive? No! He's out! Wannabe gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted.
