The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jr bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Jr feints and then cracks Banchamek's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Banchamek down.

Jr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jr lands in his opponent's guard.
Banchamek is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jr throws a big elbow that misses.
Jr won't allow Banchamek to get back to his feet.

Jr fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Banchamek sprawls well initially but Jr persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
