Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Memphis Aleist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Belic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belic misses the shot to the body.

Belic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Memphis Aleist has been cut.

Aleist decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aleist wants to take a breather but Belic is having none of it.

Aleist is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Belic doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Aleist.

Aleist gets to his feet - Belic follows without any prompting.
Aleist tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belic swivels and escapes.

No joy there for Belic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Aleist throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Belic blocks it with crossed arms.

Belic gets through Aleist's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Belic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Aleist smiles and moves away.

Belic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aleist swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Belic looks to land a right hand but Aleist moved out of range.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Aleist connects with a nice short shot to Belic's temple.

Aleist moves into range and clinches up with Belic.
Belic tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Aleist just stands there and leans against the cage.

Aleist ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Aleist no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Aleist has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Belic is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Aleist.

That was a close round but I would say that Memphis Aleist will probably get the nod.

That's time! Aleist's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Aleist walks into a stiff left hand from Belic.
Belic swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Aleist counters with a left and a right that stings Belic.

Aleist feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Aleist postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Belic had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Aleist is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Belic Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Aleist's back instead.

Aleist tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Belic goes for an armbar but Aleist turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Aleist.

Aleist sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Belic's guard.

Aleist is stalling here. Belic is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Aleist seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Belic has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Belic drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aleist looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aleist looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aleist!
Aleist scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Belic to see if he's OK.
