The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Clay.
Clay throws a quick inside leg kick.
Clay feints and then cracks Blikstein's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Blikstein down.
Clay throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Clay shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Archie Clay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blikstein throws a shot from downtown. Clay moves away and avoids it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Clay.
Clay looks to score with a jab to the body but Blikstein is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paulo Blikstein.
I think Clay has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
