Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Finn Vernon (ranked 5280 p4p, 470 weight class) and Zane Alexander (ranked 2424 p4p, 295 weight class). Alexander has chosen Enter Sandman by Metallica as his entrance music. The key to victory for Finn Vernon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Vernon misses.

Alexander closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ground and pound from Alexander seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Alexander postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Vernon is trying to get back to his feet but Alexander has full control of the position and if anything, Vernon has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Alexander lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Alexander.

Vernon manages to stand up with Alexander still on his back. Eventually Alexander drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Alexander has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Vernon!

Alexander postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Vernon in real trouble here! The ref calls for Vernon to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

A relieved looking Zane Alexander thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
