Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaakko Parantainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Bitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Parantainen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hellacopters - Soulseller. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaakko Parantainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Bitch!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitch shoots for a double leg takedown but Parantainen sprawls well. He's pushed Bitch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bitch looks to land a combination but Parantainen avoids it well.
Bitch avoids a punch combination nicely.
Parantainen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Parantainen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bitch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Parantainen tries to buck Bitch off but Bitch is having none of it.

Parantainen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bitch on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bitch darts in trying to clinch
and Parantainen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bitch's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parantainen advances to half guard.
Parantainen wants to free his trapped foot but Bitch is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bitch is looking for a sweep. Parantainen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Parantainen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Bitch slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bitch manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Parantainen is trying desperately to improve position.
Bitch is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Parantainen is surviving well by controlling Bitch's body position as best he can.
Bitch gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

and Parantainen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bitch thinking.

Parantainen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Parantainen is looking to take a break and control but Bitch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bitch gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Parantainen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bitch swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Parantainen won't allow Bitch to sweep him here.

Bitch is looking for a triangle but Parantainen pushes his legs off easily.

Bitch moves forwards but Parantainen connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Parantainen throws a series of punches but Bitch avoids them all with ease.
Bitch doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Parantainen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Jaakko Parantainen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bitch looks like he's trying to stand up.
Parantainen is nestled in close to Bitch, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Parantainen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Parantainen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Parantainen is defending against the submission attempts here by Bitch.

Parantainen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
