Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Coyote (ranked 22459 p4p, 619 weight class) and Cathail Murphy (ranked 4343 p4p, 443 weight class). Cathail Murphy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Coyote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Cathail Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coyote misses with an attempted mid kick.
Coyote swings widly with a right hand
and Murphy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Murphy is looking to work some ground and pound but Coyote has wrist control.
Coyote is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Murphy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Coyote has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Murphy has managed to get both his arms back between Coyote's legs - danger averted.
Coyote looking for a guillotine here but Murphy defends easily.
Murphy wants to control from the top but Coyote keeps moving.
Murphy tries to free his leg and advance position but Coyote is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Murphy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Murphy stands and throws Coyote's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Murphy stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Coyote shoots for a double leg takedown but Murphy sprawls well. He's pushed Coyote's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Murphy has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Coyote is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Coyote moves forwards but Murphy connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Coyote instigates a clinch.
Murphy wants to break free but Coyote has control.
Murphy jumps guard but Coyote turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Murphy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Coyote is defending well for now.
Coyote manages to break the clinch.
Murphy gets a takedown into half guard.
Coyote has one foot on Murphy's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Coyote throws a shot from downtown. Murphy moves away and avoids it.
Murphy misses with the combination.
Murphy on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Cathail Murphy has been cut.
Coyote misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A little feinted left hand from Coyote on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Murphy moves out of range of the strikes.
Murphy throws a series of punches but Coyote moves out of range.
A left and a right from Murphy both land. Nice combination.
Coyote rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Murphy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Murphy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Coyote wants a takedown but no success here.
Murphy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coyote misses with a straight left.
Murphy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Coyote paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Coyote misses with a few strikes there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Murphy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Coyote doesn't seem bothered though.
Coyote fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chief Coyote. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Murphy throws a nice head kick!
Murphy throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Coyote stumbling backwards into the cage! Coyote bounces back off the cage towards Murphy, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Murphy lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Murphy celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Cathail Murphy!
Cathail Murphy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
