Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doktor Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Jesus, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Jesus against the cage but Jesus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sanchez scores with a decent looking hook.
Sanchez tries to bum rush Jesus with a series of wild strikes but Jesus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jesus shoots for a double leg takedown but Sanchez sprawls well. He's pushed Jesus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jesus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanchez as he jumps to the side.
No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sanchez looks to land a combination but Jesus avoids it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jesus has hold of Sanchez's hands but Sanchez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Sanchez will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jesus lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jesus connects with a nice short shot to Sanchez's temple.

I would just about give that final round to Doktor Jesus.
