Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mon Ster (ranked 969 p4p, 119 weight class) and Doug Glatt (ranked 1036 p4p, 128 weight class). Ster's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Automatic - Monster. Glatt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Killed by death. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mon Ster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Doug Glatt!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glatt goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Glatt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ster.

It looks like Mon Ster has been cut.
Ster misses with a body kick.
Ster has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Glatt.
Ster thows a left - swing and a miss!
Doug Glatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Glatt throws a half hearted mid kick.

Ster moves into the clinch successfully.
Glatt lands with a short shot to the head.
Glatt is pushing Ster up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Ster lands an elbow just above Glatt 's eye.
Glatt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Glatt is trying to maintain a safe position but Ster gets an underhook and turns Glatt into the cage.

Ster breaks the clinch.
Glatt moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Glatt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Glatt thows a leg kick but Ster checks it
and Glatt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ster swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Glatt throws the kick towards the body but Ster avoids it.
Ster ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Glatt moves away.
Glatt throws out a counter right but Ster avoids it with no problem.
Ster misses with a hook.
Ster throws a body shot but no joy.
Glatt throws a head kick that Ster semi-blocks.
Glatt cracks the inside of Ster's front leg.
Ster blocks a head kick by Glatt.
Ster pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Glatt looks to land a left hand but Ster moved out of range nicely.

Glatt finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Ster counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ster takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
No joy there for Ster, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It seemed like Glatt was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Glatt gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Glatt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ster sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Glatt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Glatt throws the left hand but Ster avoids the punch easily.
Ster moves out of range as Glatt strikes.
Ster throws a body kick that misses.
Glatt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ster throws a predictable looking body shot
and Glatt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Good work by Ster as he checks the leg kick.
Glatt takes one to the side of the head.
Glatt throws a push kick but Ster slaps the foot to one side.
Ster has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ster there as he acknowledges the shot.


Mon Ster's cut is getting worse.
Glatt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Glatt walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ster checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Glatt fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ster on the side of the head.
Glatt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Glatt lands with a slapping head kick.
Glatt throws a hook to the side of Ster's head but Ster sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Glatt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Glatt cracks Ster with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.


Mon Ster's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Glatt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ster.
Glatt misses with a body kick.
Nice jab there from Ster.
Ster just misses with a punch to the body.
Ster throws a front kick that sends Glatt stumbling back into the cage.
Glatt tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ster is able to avoid easily.

and Ster counters with a series of strikes. Glatt will be more careful next time no doubt.
Glatt throws an overhand right that lands on Ster's shoulder, as Ster tries to avoid the shot.
Ster bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Glatt looks to land a body kick but Ster moved away.

Ster takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Jeez, Mon Ster's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Glatt lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Glatt pushes Ster back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Glatt throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Glatt creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Glatt lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mon Ster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Doug Glatt!
A very excited looking Doug Glatt made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
