The crowd seem to be enjoying DJ's choice of entrance music: Lil Scrappy - No Problem. Alistair Ubereem has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deontay DJ!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DJ tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ubereem counters with a right hand to the body.
Alistair Ubereem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ubereem tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ubereem scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
DJ walks into a stiff left hand from Ubereem .
Ubereem with a body punch. A glancing blow.
DJ moves forwards but Ubereem connects with a nice, crisp jab.
DJ uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ubereem .
DJ takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Deontay DJ has been cut.
Ubereem has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Ubereem takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ubereem looks to land a body kick but DJ moved away.
DJ throws a counter combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
DJ stuns Ubereem with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
DJ takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ubereem scores with a head kick. DJ tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
DJ tries to clinch up.

DJ clinches with his opponent.
DJ blocks a punch to the side of the head.

DJ breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

DJ closes the distance and pushes Ubereem back into the cage.

DJ manages to break the clinch.

DJ fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ubereem , pushing him back against the cage.
DJ has a couple of punches blocked by Ubereem .
Ubereem looking to stall.
DJ lands a shoulder strike.

DJ breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
DJ takes a jab right on the kisser.

DJ fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ubereem , pushing him back against the cage.

DJ breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ubereem slips under a jab.
DJ swings widly with a right hand
and Ubereem counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ubereem throws a push kick but DJ slaps the foot to one side.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
DJ takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

DJ is rocked!
DJ throws a nice looking combination but Ubereem bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
DJ is still on wobbly legs! Can Ubereem finish him?
Ubereem lands a straight punch to the body, keeping DJ at a distance.
DJ looks winded!
Ubereem throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Ubereem is stalking DJ. DJ circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Ubereem , and it's lights out! DJ really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alistair Ubereem !
Alistair Ubereem bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
