The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magna rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage.
Jackson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Magna smiles and moves away.

Magna scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jackson is looking to control Magna's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jackson avoid being mounted?
Magna perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Magna moves out of range.

Magna breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jackson is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at JAG Battle Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Jackson has hold of Magna's hands but Magna slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Magna closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Jackson 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jackson shoots in but Magna avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Magna isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Magna on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson !

Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Magna keeps working.

Magna is staying active underneath Jackson , who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Magna makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Magna.
Magna looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Jackson wanted to stand there but Magna had control of the position.

Magna escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jackson won't allow Magna to get back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Magna is breathing heavily.
Jackson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Magna off and has taken his back!
Jackson has the hooks in. Magna is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Magna really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Rhino Jackson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Magna has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
