PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yonaz Obsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Not Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obsen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling. Guy has chosen I'm Not The Guy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Yonaz Obsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Not Guy!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obsen ducks straight into an uppercut from Guy and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Obsen maanges to regain guard straight away.

Obsen is rocked!

It looks like Yonaz Obsen has been cut.
Obsen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guy manages to get himself to full guard.
Oh Obsen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Obsen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Obsen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Obsen seems to have got his legs back now.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Obsen takes Guy's back.

I really don't envy Guy right now.

Obsen is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Guy has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Obsen has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Guy taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Obsen doesn't care though - he's delighted!
