Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Emilbek Uulu Mambetaly (ranked 2764 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcellus Marcus (ranked 2340 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Emilbek Uulu Mambetaly has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Emilbek Uulu Mambetaly seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mambetaly.

Mambetaly manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Marcus goes for a double leg but Mambetaly avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mambetaly continues to drive forward.
Mambetaly closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marcus circles away.

Marcus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mambetaly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mambetaly working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mambetaly thows a huge punch but Marcus dodges it nicely.
Mambetaly looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Marcus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
