Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Abdulrahman Al Abdullah (ranked 2881 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chengiz Yilmaz (ranked 2671 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Abdullah will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Al Abdullah tries to clinch there but Yilmaz circles away.

and Yilmaz counters with a shoot takedown. Al Abdullah fights it but they end up in guard.
Al Abdullah bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yilmaz's guard.

Yilmaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Al Abdullah . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yilmaz throws his legs up looking for a submission but Al Abdullah uses it to pass to side control.

Al Abdullah is looking to take a break and control but Yilmaz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Al Abdullah tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Al Abdullah prevents Yilmaz from escaping the position.
Al Abdullah wants to stand but Yilmaz has his arm trapped.

Al Abdullah wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Yilmaz, who protects the arm well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Yilmaz is not content to let Al Abdullah control the position.
Al Abdullah is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Yilmaz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Yilmaz is looking to regain half guard here but Al Abdullah keeps moving and retains side control.

Al Abdullah wants to control the pace but Yilmaz is squirming around nicely.
Yilmaz wants to control but Al Abdullah is having none of it.

Al Abdullah ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Al Abdullah no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Al Abdullah is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Yilmaz frees his head nicely. Oh but Al Abdullah has switched to an armbar! Yilmaz is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
