Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikhil Remao (ranked 25375 p4p, 203 weight class) and Ewart Soso (ranked 7117 p4p, 161 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikhil Remao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ewart Soso!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Remao fails with a takedown attempt.
Remao tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Soso swivels and escapes.
Soso pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Remao tries to close the distance and clinch but Soso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Remao.

Soso changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Remao tries to avoid it but Soso manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Remao to the ground. Remao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Soso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Remao goes for a double leg but Soso avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Soso continues to drive forward.
Soso lands with a kick to the temple. Remao shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Soso pulls guard successfully.
Soso is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Soso takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Soso looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Remao is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Soso bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Remao's guard.


Soso decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ewart Soso showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Remao's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Well Soso has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
