The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkash leaves Aurelius with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Alkash throws a sloppy head kick and Aurelius moves out of range easily.
Aurelius shoots for a double leg takedown but Alkash sprawls well. He's pushed Aurelius's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aurelius dives in and grabs Alkash's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alkash pushes down on Aurelius's head and hops out.
Dvornoy Alkash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Aurelius.

Donk. Alkash catches Aurelius right on the button with a cross.
Alkash throws a head kick but Aurelius moves out of range.
Aurelius thinks about the counter body kick.
Alkash displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aurelius.
Aurelius fails with the takedown
and Alkash counters with a nice leg kick.

Alkash darts in and clinches Aurelius up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aurelius drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alkash lands with a light punch inside.
Our sources have told us that Alkash has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Aurelius wants to take the fight to the mat but Alkash manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Aurelius wants a takedown.

Alkash breaks the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aurelius tries to move into range but Alkash moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Alkash closes the distance and pushes Aurelius back into the cage.
Alkash looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Aurelius is looking for a takedown.
Aurelius goes for a takedown attempt but Alkash pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Alkash closes the distance and clinches.

Aurelius is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Alkash can't fight it off and eventually Aurelius manages to take the fight to the floor. Alkash looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Alkash is looking to cinch up a triangle. Aurelius throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Alkash's body to avoid the submission. Alkash has instead reached around Aurelius's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Alkash arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
