The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taneyev throws a jab but it's blocked by Romeo.
Romeo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Romeo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Taneyev under the eye.

Romeo lands a big uppercut and Taneyev crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Taneyev looks OK. Romeo waves Taneyev back to his feet!

It looks like Valentin Taneyev has been cut.

Romeo moves away from the strike by Taneyev.
Taneyev misses with a low kick.
Taneyev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Romeo throws a lazy right hand but Taneyev sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Romeo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Taneyev fails in his attempt to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Romeo. Taneyev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Taneyev looks to land a left hand but Romeo moved out of range nicely.
Taneyev misses with a hook. Romeo ducked under it nicely.
Taneyev rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Romeo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Romeo throws a body shot but no joy.

Taneyev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Romeo counters with a nice right hand that sends Taneyev toppling to the canvas! Taneyev scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Romeo finish him?!

Taneyev is rocked!
Romeo cracks Taneyev with a left hook right on the temple and Taneyev goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Romeo lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Taneyev is OK!
