Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Gallo (ranked 2978 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emilbek Uulu Mambetaly (ranked 2134 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mambetaly shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gallo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mambetaly is working for takedown but Gallo is calmly controlling the position for now.

Mambetaly is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gallo can't fight it off and eventually Mambetaly manages to take the fight to the floor. Gallo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Gallo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mambetaly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mambetaly makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mambetaly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gallo is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mambetaly lands a couple of digs.
Oh Gallo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mambetaly arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Gallo's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
