The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hitson throws a nice looking combination but Telegin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hitson scores with a hook to the body. Telegin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Telegin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Telegin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hitson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Telegin.
Telegin is taking a breather. Hitson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Telegin maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hitson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Telegin has cracked it and Hitson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Telegin!

After the fight, Sergey Telegin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
