Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Li Qiang (ranked 906 p4p, 43 weight class) and Julio Falcon (ranked 1670 p4p, 65 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon throws a right hand that misses
and Qiang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Falcon rushes Qiang and presses him up against the cage.
Falcon is stalling here.

Qiang tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Falcon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Falcon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Qiang off and has taken his back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Falcon wants to control the position but Qiang frees himself and scrambles - Falcon manages to regain control in side control.

Qiang avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Falcon.
Qiang is not content to let Falcon control the position.

Qiang tries to improve position but can't.
Falcon throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Qiang works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Qiang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Falcon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Falcon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Qiang seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Qiang controls Falcon momentarily but Falcon frees himself.

Qiang is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Falcon is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Falcon works the jab nicely.
Qiang slips a jab from Falcon.
It looked like Qiang wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Qiang lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Falcon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Qiang quickly recovers to half guard.
Falcon is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Qiang!
Qiang takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

It looks like Li Qiang has been cut.
Falcon breaks from Qiang's wrist control and lands an elbow.
