The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gitar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barraca sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gitar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barraca circles away quickly and effectively.
Gitar avoids a kick to the body.
Gitar throws a head kick but Barraca moves out of range.
Gitar shoots for a double leg takedown but Barraca sprawls well. He's pushed Gitar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Barraca fails with a takedown attempt.
Barraca really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Barraca drives through and clinches with Gitar against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gitar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gitar misses with a takedown attempt
and Barraca counters with a nice uppercut.
Francisco Barraca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Red Gitar.

Barraca rushes Gitar and presses him up against the cage.
Gitar prevents the takedown attempt.

Barraca breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gitar stuffs the takedown attempt from Barraca. Barraca gets slowly back to his feet.
Gitar pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Gitar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Barraca gets the takedown into side control.

Gitar sneaks out the side door and pushes Barraca away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Gitar doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Barraca counters with a right hand to the body.
Gitar looks winded!
Barraca lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Gitar throws out a loose jab but Barraca uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gitar wants to clinch but Barraca slips to the side
and Barraca counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Gitar! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Francisco Barraca!
