Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dom Madden!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Madden gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Madden is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Penn pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Madden tries to pull guard but Penn won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Madden throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Penn's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Madden is going olschool here, as he tries to force Penn to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Penn shrugs it off.
